BarreAmped Class Formats

BarreAmped (beginner/mixed level)

BarreAmped is an intensive body shaping experience designed to produce reliable results, no matter the client. This class is a mixed-level class for any client at any point in your fitness journey. Modifications will be offered throughout class for any client who wishes to keep things as basic as possible, while other clients can choose to not take them, or to take advanced variations. Small, isometric movements combined with an intense mind/body connection, tactile corrections, and holds, make this class a rewarding challenge for all of our clients. 

Need a little more? Check out our BarreAmped/Yoga Flow (beginner/mixed level) classes, lasting 75 minutes. This class is the perfect chance to experience an intense BarreAmped class complemented with a calming, relaxing stretch segment using beginner yoga postures. The 15 minute yoga portion was created to be the perfect balance to the preceding time in class. Offering deep stretching and breathing along with the continued mind/body connection, you’re guaranteed to leave feeling better than when you came! 

In a rush? We offer a BarreAmped Express classes (beginner/mixed level), perfectly designed to meet your schedule and workout needs! This class packs all the punch of our classic BarreAmped class into just 45 minutes!


NOVO.Fitness.2.101 BarreAmped Advanced (intermediate level)

This class is for clients who are ready to take their barre experience to the next level! Clients who have attended a minimum of ten BarreAmped classes are encouraged to give our advanced class a try. It is a guaranteed sweat and next level challenge with longer holds, fast-paced sets, advanced form options, and quick transitions and set-up time. While the class is advanced, clients are still welcome and encouraged to take modifications where necessary. 


NOVO.Fitness.2.093 BarreAmped Bootcamp (mixed level)

BarreAmped Bootcamp uses the classic foundation of BarreAmped combined with cardio intervals, interspersed with floor and core work. This program relies on high intensity interval training, which has been proven to burn fat faster than sustained endurance training. All fitness levels are welcome to participate.  BarreAmped Bootcamp will shake up your workout! This class is the most fun & effective way to burn fat, lose weight and change your body. Although not a requirement, we strongly recommend that clients attend at least one BarreAmped class prior to taking “Bootcamp,” as it moves at a faster pace. We highly encourage a hand towel, which can be purchased at the studio, as well as plenty of water! 

Love BarreAmped Bootcamp? Check out ouBarreAmped Extreme Cardio (mixed level),which is similar to our BarreAmped Bootcamp format with a little something special added! We work the thighs, the seat, upper body and core. During the cardio portion, we implement a Tabata specific/plyometric exercise that sends the body right into the fat burning zone. Tabata is a popular regimen based on a study by creator, Izumi Tabata that uses 20 seconds of ultra-intense exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated continuously for 4 minutes (8 cycles). This class is all about pushing yourself to your max while maintaining proper and controlled form. Our instructors are there every step of the way to motivate, encourage, and keep you safe! This is NOT an advanced class! All Levels Encouraged To Attend!

NOVO.Fitness.2.100 BarreAmped Fire (most advanced) 

BarreAmped Fire is our toughest barre class! It relies heavily on the client’s proven technique, flexibility and strength. Full range of motion moves, quick transitions, elements of cardio and advanced dynamic stretching combined with compound muscle work and advanced technique allow experienced clients to take their journey to the next level. Originated in Tennessee, it was voted as one of Nashville’s toughest workouts by Nashville Lifestyles, Fire is sure to rock your world!
We strongly recommend a minimum of ten BarreAmped Advanced classes before taking on this challenge! Water, two pound weights, and a towel are highly encouraged! This is the class where you challenge yourself to take it to the next level!

the pow{h}er method Class Formats

NOVO.Fitness.199 tap n' pow{h}er (beginner/mixed level)

tap n’ pow{h}er, a balance fusion class, is designed to shape, tone and elongate while delivered with messages of empowerment. It is an extremely form focused method based on 25 years of dance research and experience, and over a decade of mind body fitness study, training, and master instruction. Combining rotational, linear, isometric, range of motion and compound movement, tap n’ pow{h}er takes you on a challenging and empowering journey unlike any other. The structure of tap n’ pow{h}er takes a thoughtful approach at building deep muscle strength, tone, flexibility, balance, and alignment to women’s bodies. 

NOVO.Fitness.2.139   energy n' pow{h}er (most advanced)

energy n' pow{h}er is an all fitness level cardio SWEAT-FEST that combines upbeat music, beautiful movement, high intensity interval training (HIIT), and messages of empowerment. Designed to compliment tap n' pow{h}er, this class speaks directly to the mind, body, and spirit both in verbal cues as well as within the technique of the movement, all while taking the cardio aspect of tn'p to the next level! Participants will be challenged through balance, range of motion, isometric holds, linear rotation, and both sustained Tabata cardio intervals as well as other cardio exercises to confuse muscle groups while positively enticing the mind and body. Hand towels, lots of water, and an "I can!" attitude are all highly encouraged as clients will challenge themselves to find the energy within and rise above any and all obstacles. *We recommend taking a tap n' pow{h}er class prior to taking energy n' pow{h}er, to give you more of a foundation for this intense, fast-paced class. 

 NOVO.Fitness.011  hold n' pow{h}er (beginner/mixed level)

hold n' pow{h}er is a balance and strength fusion class of isometric poses interspersed with yoga posturing. Form focus and fearless is the mantra of this class. Clients will be led through each pose with detail description, demonstration, tactile correction, and encouragement. The intention for hn'p is to take each individual on a unique and challenging journey to join breath, spine, and heat, while furthering the relationship of mind to body.

NOVO.Fitness.218 PILOXING (beginner/mixed level)

A non-stop, cardio fusion of standing pilates, boxing, and dance that will push you past your limits for a sleek, sexy, powerful you! PILOXING cardio fusion incorporates cutting edge research and fitness techniques to burn maximum calories, build lean muscles, and increase stamina. The PILOXING program uniquely blends the power, speed, and agility of boxing with exhilarating dance moves and targeted sculpting and flexibility of pilates. These techniques are supplemented by the use of optional weighted gloves, which will be available for purchase in studio, to further tone the arms and maximizing cardiovascular health. Put it all together, and you have a muscle-toning, fat-burning workout that will make you feel physically and mentally empowered; That is PILOXING cardio-fusion.  

Buti Yoga Class Formats

NOVO.Fitness.2.204   Buti Yoga (mixed level)
Buti Yoga is a movement practice that fuses power yoga, tribal dance, and plyometrics into a high-intensity workout that transforms the body from the inside out. Clients train the core using the Spiral Structure technique created by founder Bizzie Gold that transforms the way the body looks and performs almost instantly. Buti combines various styles of Hatha yoga with tribal-influenced dance sequences to keep the heart rate up. Buti Yoga is a jam-packed, sweat-filled hour that helps women free their femininity and create a sisterhood within their community.

Buti Lite (beginner/mixed level) is a toned-down version of Buti Yoga, with a slower flow offering more static asana (pose) holds and modifications/levels. It is a great way to start your journey in Buti for beginners, and is equally impactful for advanced clients looking to deepen their flexibility and grow their strength. Despite being taught at a slightly slower pace, this class is a guaranteed challenge and is sure to leave you sweaty! 

NOVO.Fitness.2.196 Buti Sculpt (mixed level) 
A 30 minute HIIT (High intensity Interval Training) class, which can be paired with a class prior to or preceding, or can be taken on its own. The class is comprised of 40 second sets of high intensity cardio intervals, followed by 20 second sets of static yoga poses. The class focuses on building long, lean muscle tone while kicking the body into a heightened metabolic state.  

NOVO.Fitness.2.215 Buti Flow (mixed-level)

Structured similarly to a regular Buti Yoga class, Buti Flow eliminates the plyometrics and focuses intensely on power yoga flows and deep abdominal toning. With low-intensity tribal cardio, this class will leave you sweaty and sore to the core. 

*We do NOT recommend taking any Buti Yoga class during the first trimester of pregnancy. Our Buti Yoga classes are reserved for women only. 


bellicon Rebounding Class Formats

This 45-minute low-impact rebounding class is filled with sweat and fun! Gentle on joints, but high in intensity, this class will get your heart pumping, lymphs flowing, and adrenaline rushing. The benefits of rebounding are endless, from lymphatic draining, to detoxification, to improved immune system, and so much more. Segments of cardio, dance, and exercise combinations on the bellicon Rebounder are interspersed with strength training sections using the bellicon and (optional) light hand weights. You will burn just as many (or more) calories on the Rebounder than you will in a five mile run without the stress on your joints! This class targets the whole body from the inside out, including major muscle groups such as legs, seat, arms, and core, all while blasting more calories in less time! If you're dying for more, try our new one-hour bounce! As with many of our classes, the more you take, the better your understanding of the class. The choreography for this class will remain the same for 1 month in each class with each teacher so you can learn more, improve, and see results! 

bellicon t stand bellicon Circle (mixed-level)

This 30-minute HIIT class is jam-packed with bouncing fun on the Bellicon! 40 seconds of high-intensity, heart-pumping bouncing is followed by 20 seconds of low-intensity bouncing to vary the heart rate throughout the class. Gain strength, endurance, and coordination in this super efficient, faced-paced class. And as a bonus, keep burning calories up to hours after you leave!
